brand description

BRIE is a project that celebrates the simplest things in life. The time we spend at home alone or with ours is the most precious of our entire existence as beings in this world. Now more than ever, we spend a lot of time at home, and we are finally giving the importance it deserves to moments of coexistence and personal awareness.

The values that define Brie revolve around sustainability and conscious and responsible consumption. It is a project that was born and developed in the Berguedà area, using the closest and most sustainable resources. Brie's intention is to take advantage of everything we have around us to create the maximum economic impact in the area, and at the same time offer a product that has been made with great care and respect.

Product description

The sleeves are a very versatile and comfortable piece. These are half sleeves that are adjusted at the ends and that prevent us from staining the sleeves of our shirts or sweaters and protect the arms from stains and splashes.

They have been used for a long time in many trades and at home. It is a garment that was born from recycling and use, since many times they were made with the sleeves of old shirts.

We wanted to recover this garment for its usefulness and for the values it represented. In our case, we make them with fabrics left over from textile colonies in the area. We take advantage of loose discarded rolls, which is why each edition is unique.

They are produced in Berga, by the Fundació Privada Horitzó del Berguedà , a foundation that fights against stigma in mental health and offers jobs to people at risk of social exclusion.
