Olive bag is handmade by local artisans from Andalusia, Spain.
This little bag was used by our grandfather in the past to take worms to the river to later use them for fishing.
It is made of esparto grass, a filiform wild fiber that is collected by hand in the fields and moistened to dry under the sun. Once golden, it is crushed with a round mallet so that it softens and is more comfortable to work with. Finally, it is braided using the traditional technique of 'doing a plea' and sewn with rope, giving it the desired shape.
Each piece is unique and inimitable.
