Hydraulic Tile – Rosselló

Hydraulic tile is a modernist flooring introduced in the homes of Barcelona since the end of the 19th century. It is used to renew traditional terracotta, stone and ceramic floors, thanks to the introduction of cement. The pavements almost always imitate a composition in the form of a carpet.

You take home a piece of Barcelona's soil. Each piece has been made according to the same artisan technique used since the beginning of the 20th century. It is suitable for contact with hot surfaces. It can be used as a trivet.
